Delta Hotels by Marriott has announced a new amenity partnership with Soapbox. The hotel chain will stock rooms with premium bath products to guests — and at the same time, donating soap to communities in need, worldwide. The new amenity kits will begin rolling out to all 50 properties within the brand’s global portfolio this month. The naturally-derived Soapbox products featured in the guestroom amenity kits include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, liquid hand soap and bar soap. “We are very excited and proud to enter into this relationship with Soapbox,” said Gregory Durrer, Global Brand Leader of Delta Hotels by Marriott. “Not only are we giving guests a great bath experience with quality products they will love, but we are also making a change in children’s lives around the world. It is a win-win.” Delta Hotels is one of the fastest-growing brands in the Marriott portfolio. The Buy-One-Give-One Model The collaboration between Delta Hotels and Soapbox will provide an estimated 1.4 million bars of soap to communities in need across the globe in 2018 through Soapbox’s buy-one-give-one model. As part of the relationship, each amenity kit will include a unique “Hope Code.” Delta Hotels guests can enter the Hope Code found on their in-room amenities on Soapbox’s website, to see where that particular kit’s contribution will be allocated. “Soapbox’s mission is to empower customers to change the world through everyday, quality purchases,” said CEO and co-founder Dave Simnick. “Partners like this ensure we can continue to donate bars of soap to those in need around the world. This is a true collaborative effort and we are thrilled to be able to provide Delta Hotels’ guests with high-quality products that give back.” Delta Hotels and Soapbox’s relationship ladders directly into Marriott International’s new sustainability and social impact platform, Serve 360, which is dedicated to identifying opportunities to sustain responsible operations while nurturing the world. “Our relationship with Soapbox is powerful, in that it offers guests the unique ability to seamlessly be a part of positive global impact,” added Durrer. The Products, in Mini Packages Soapbox’s hair and personal care line for Delta by Marriot include bar soaps, body wash and hair care products in three scents — Sea Minerals & Bue Iris, for gentle moisture; Citrus & Peach Rose to revive; and Coconut MIlk & Sandalwood for deep moisture. All of the hair care products contain argan oil, olive oil and aloe “to elevate your washing & moisturizing experience,” the company says. The formulas are SLS & SLES-free, and safe on colored hair. The hair care products are packaged in amber-colored plastic bottles with pump dispensers. The body wash line is in round plastic bottles with dispensing caps. The argan-oil-infused Hydrating Wash and Lotion contain vitamin E. All products are also paraben free, cruelty-free, made in the USA, and vegan.
